Ariel Goldberg is a Senior Artist at Zynga. In 2010 he co-directed, wrote, voiced and animated the cartoon short It’s What’s For Dinner, recipient of the Matt Groening Initiative Award. Originally from San Francisco, where he studied under the direction of Elizabeth Pal at the Young Artists’ School, Ariel completed his BA in Theater at UCLA in 2007 and his MFA in Animation, also at UCLA, in 2012. Ariel recently directed, animated and voiced the short-subject animated film, Terror in a Three Piece Suit,with generous funds from Matt Groening. He is also developing two features – the Crimean War adventure epic, The Cantonist, and a WWII-era drama, The 900 Days. Ariel divides his time between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
